Question about mods

I recently baught NBA Live 08, while I enjoy the game I have noticed some minor problems with the game however. These where things that I had imagined EA would have fixed with a patch by now however I can't find an Official EA patch for the game. So my first question is do they have one and if so where can I get it.
If not the problems I noticed where, when the opposing team takes i foul shot my player won't move to rebound, he just stays stuck and spins around. Also there is no way to see a salary for dynisty mode when trading. I have seen a mod for this problem on this site however when I click to use it I am directed to filefront.com and the page has nothing about the download. I would also like a way to change the National teams. Answer to any or all of these questions would be very much appreciated. I am sorry if these questions have already been asked and answered I searched around but could not find the answers.

There hasn't been official EA patch for Live 08 I think.

Unability to move a player to rebound missed free throw is a bug of the game. It's not possible to fix. Only thing you can do is to switch to other player, if your center/power forward is controlled by the cpu, he will automatically try to rebound.

In which way you'd like to edit the national teams? If it's the roster, you can edit it by dbf files.

Hotspots - yeah, it's possible to edit. Just save your roster, exit the game, then go to this location:

My Documents -> NBA Live 08 -> saves -> [your saved roster name]

Edit players.dbf file with DB Commander and the hotspots fields are nearly furthest to the right. All the info about editing it you can find here.

There's definitely no official patch for NBA Live 08, which is probably has the most bugs and issues of all PC releases in the series which makes the lack of an official fix most unfortunate.
