New rosters

I'm new to this site. I've just purchased NBA Live 08 for the PC and need help on how to install the roster update I've just downloaded from the downloaded section. All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If it's the NLSC rosters you're talking about, you'll need Winzip to open the .zip file. Inside, you'll find a file called install.exe. Double click that file to run it and it will take care of the rest.

newbie here..just bought a copy of NBA live 08 and installed it to my laptop...then downloaded the patch and installed it too. the problem is the game will no longer opened after the installation of the patch...i just follow the instruction there...

hope i could still make it work (the patch)

Nothing the patch does should cause that to happen. Do you get an error message when you try to start the game?

no error sir, it just can't start...as in, the shortcut doesnt work and also the application doesnt work...

Tha's very strange, there's no way anything the patch does could cause that to happen as it doesn't modify the .exe file or anything like that.

or maybe its the game itself? or my laptop's specs?

anyway there is still problem after i unistalled the game and installed it again, now without the patch, and i dont want to use the dvd inside my dvd-rom, i make an 'image' and mount it in alcohol 120%, but when i start the game, it still looking for the original dvd...can u help me with this sir?

ill fix this first before patching my rosters...
