Yes, all the rookies will be included in the next version of the NLSC update. A couple of them are missing portraits and using generic faces but if updates for those players become available I'll certainly ask for permission to use them as well (and you can always download updates and use them with the new rosters, once they're out).

Hi Andrew,

I know this is not a request line and the last thing im trying to do is to be offensive or rude, im just an nba live fan who tore his ACL and just cant bring himself to watch another TV show or play with Facebook so I was wondering : if i got it right all you're missing are 2-3 courts and a few CF's for players who will be probably waived (BTW - bryan is releasing the nola court today) so i know im not representing all of the fans, i know some of them are moving to nba2k, the others are in no hurry and can wait for another month, but i know at least couple of guys who wouldnt mind (would be extremly happy) if you could release what you have so far (without the 2 courts and few faces, im sure we can tweak the rosters ourselves if there are additional changes) now let me be clear about this - i have no idea what does it mean to make such a roster or release it (all i do is install the game and put in one patch which is yours) so of course we're not taking your work for granted, of course we dont expect you to spend hours on the rosters and of course we appreciate the fact you're doing it all for free and for the love of the game and we have no right to rush you or anything (and even if it comes out in 3 months we would still appreciate it) so basically if releasing an inperfect roster can be done without spending to much time on it we would appreciate it a lot but if it means you're gonna have to spend a lot of time doing so then just forget about it and we'll wait for it... once again didnt mean to offend or anything and thanx for everything you're doing....

Well, yes, I intend to release it soon but I've been busy with other things; I've been out most of the weekend and before that I was overseeing the server move which didn't leave me a lot of time to work on the rosters. I'm putting the finishing touches on the 08 update at the moment though so it really won't be much longer.

As I said before, I realise other people have been getting their updates out quicker this offseason but with all due respect, they don't have to look after some of the other things that I do with the NLSC and while I can't speak for their personal lives, I can say that mine sometimes does not allow me to spend as much time with the rosters these days but I certainly have no intention of abandoning them at this point.

I certainly see what you're saying and I know you're keen to have them, but you really won't have to wait much longer for them. I've just had to take care of some other rather important things first.

Cool, sounds good to me... sorry again for the bother

regarding the second part, as far as i'm concerned you're doing us a big favor so really there's no need to explain or anything, you do what you gotta do and im sure nobody here isnt expecting you to give up on living your life just so we can have some fun. thanx again man for all the great work !

No worries. The second paragraph certainly wasn't directed at you, I just felt I should mention it again as I know people have wondered why it's taking me longer than other people.

My other thought this offseason has been that with all the transactions, updates are often outdated by the time people download them which causes some confusion as a lot of people don't bother reading descriptions or just skim through them, as demonstrated by the people who tell me I've "forgotten" to make transactions that occur five days after the update has been released. There's really no point starting a Dynasty with rosters released in July or August as well.

But again, the rosters are very close to being released now, I'm just doing some final testing and then they'll be made available quite soon.

Hey Andrew nice to see that the roster is near completion, I'm going to use your patch for NBA Live 06 by the way because I didn't really like 07 and 08 that much and 09 is out for PC users so I'm going to stick with 06. My only concern is that NLSC roster update might update the courts and other files of Live 06 in my PC which might cause the game to crash. Can you program the installer so that we can manually enter the installation directory? Thank You, Andrew! Appreciate NBA-LIVE's help to me for almost a decade

I'd rather not sorry, I've just fixed the installation so it will find the right folder for NBA Live 08. Unless you're going to convert it for use with 06 it's going to crash anyway. I'll be converting the rosters for use with 06 myself in due time, though I'll be doing the 07 conversion first.
