Suggestion/Favor to ask jersey makers...

warning: wall of text. And, for the mods: I put this in here because I thought it would be more accessible to the people I am reaching out to. But if this would be more appropriate in the Patching Help and Requests Section, sorry, and feel free to move it. 
Hey all,
so a few NBA teams (okay, a lot of NBA teams) decide to unleash new team uniforms (and the Oklahoma team also decide to steal the Knicks' unis and slap on THUNDER and OKLAHOMA CITY on them, lol), so of course, the excellent jerseymakers here went to work on some, if not all, of the new unis. Of course, these are people who want to make the game a little bit better each time not only for themselves, but for us (thanks!).
So here's the suggestion: since these teams would be using these brand spankin' new uniforms (or brand spankin' stolen...hahaha, just messin' around with the OKC team; at least they copied off a good jersey), it would be best if jersey creators assigned these the default jersey name, like <insert team's 4-letter abbreviation here>home, or away, and since all alternates are fictional at this point, not serd but i guess "09fc" or something very unique so it won't be bothered anymore (you can assign a random 4-character alphanumeric code anyway; believe me, i've done a lot of renaming lol).
And the favor-to-ask part: as for the existing default (and, well, at this point, previous) jerseys, would it be okay for you guys to just go rename the old jerseys to, say, c08h, c08a, and c08s for the home, away, and alternate jerseys (respectively)? And their corresponding jersey portraits and such...because, well, I know I can do it, personally, but A, I've been doing it so often (I do jersey recolors for my own personal use like there's no tomorrow!) that my eyes are totally starting to go blurry (not exactly good news for a digital arts student, lol), and B, a lot of people can't (or won't want to) do it themselves. [No offense to those people, all right, but come on, admit it. It's nothing to be ashamed of.]
So, to sum up, it's just me suggesting jersey makers to, if/when they make the teams' official new uniforms, they instantly assign it to said teams' default home and away uniforms (fictional alternates are to be assigned a unique, unique name of their own), and asked a favor for the now-previous jerseys (and portraits) to get reassigned c08h, c08a, and c08s.
I know it's a lot of work passed on to you guys, and I would understand it if you wouldn't do so, but hey, it's just a suggestion (and a favor to ask following the suggestion). I do appreciate all the work you guys keep putting in everytime, and even if you don't do so, it's still okay. Much respect. Thanks for reading (if ever)!

Yes that's what most of us do. We don't overwrite the old stuff.
