Difficulty Level

Postby Mystic_J on Sun Sep 21, 2008 8:57 pm

Hi,

Is there any patch or combo settings that will rise the difficulty level above the superstar one? I have reached to a level where the superstar one does not pose any challenge at all. Aside from multiplayer, is there something i can do about that?

I'd recommend slider adjustments. They're often used to balance out the game and make it more realistic but they can also be used to increase the difficulty by giving the CPU more of an advantage. Turning down the User Defense sliders and increasing the CPU's sliders (both Offensive and Defensive) can help make the game more challenging. Increasing the CPU Interception slider forces you to take much better control of the ball.

You can also try a different aiact since "gameplay fixes" change the way the cpu plays. Kris makes aiact's for 08, I'm not sure if anyone else does. You can find his thread in the NBA Live 08 patches and releases section of the forum.

Thnx for the feedback. I'll try all of them asap. The most annoyinth thing about AI -IMHO- is that when a CPU player is alone underneath the basket he either pass the ball or shoots instead of dunking or layuping (spell alarm? :))
