Substitution Screen Crash

When I try to edit in the subsitution screen the game crashes. I can edit everything fine but when I click back to play again it crashes. I am using nigu's AI patch 6.8 except I have altered the gameplay settings in-game a little to suit me better. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE?

Try removing the patch and see if that makes a difference.
