Unfortunately, NBA Live 07 and NBA Live 08 do not offer the option of the shorter seasons, as in previous games (and Season Mode).

Simulate, use the intervention option, use the late game situation pop ups. Run the dynasty, manage your team to try to make them better, rather then playing each game and winning anyways.

Thanx for the attention but for me simulate end the fun of the game..dont you agree that ea is insane not giving us the option to less games than 82?!

and, what is the "late game situation pop ups"? you're talking about the intevention window??

The shorter season options were removed because of the season fatigue feature, which was designed with an 82 game schedule in mind. It is a bit shortsighted because those options were popular, but I guess the rationale is that the simulation and in particular the simulation intervention options will suffice. Obviously, not everyone agrees with that. :)

No. The "late game situation pop ups" is I think called Dynasty Scenarios where you can change the sitaution of the game. For example, a pop up will tell you that your team is down by four like only 2 minutes remaining in the 4th. I dont really know how to explain it.

Yeah, I know the dynasty mode is fucked up in 08. Why not just follow Pdub suggestions? You can choose to simulate one game then play the other.

Well, Dynasty Scenarios are part of the sim intervention feature though you can leave sim intervention on while disabling the scenarios.

Yes.

The lack of shorter seasons in Dynasty Mode in NBA Live 08 and NBA Live 07 has nothing to do with stupidity; those options were removed because of the season fatigue feature. It is a bit shortsighted though because those options are/were popular with a lot of players.

i guess that is the problem with people hu plays dynasty 08 and dont want it to be realistic...i mean the stats(atleast close in real life)well as for me or should i say as for us(coz lots of players want the game to be more realistic)that not the problem... the problem is to make it more realistic somehow

Well, in PSP you can select either 28, 56 or full season. The bad thing: in PSP Dynasty is screwed. I couldn't get to finish even 28 games because the thing shuts down the PSP. I even changed the disk at the store (they charged me 5€ just for the change). So I got now the PC version and seems to work ok but as many said, too bad I can't lower the games count.
On the other hand, nice to have referees and realistic courts... damn those empty playgrounds in PSP are way empty.
