Stadium Reassigning, Adding/Deleting?

I have a couple questions regarding reassigning stadia.

So for example, I have this new court. Say it's assigned to replace the Atlanta Hawks' court, but I wouldn't want that. I would want it to replace, say, the All-Star '90s arena. How would I do that? What would be the things I need to do? Is it just as easy as renaming everything 'atla' to 'as90,' from the filename to the filenames included in the .viv file? Or do I need to do something else?

And another question, can I change the arena names and locations in location.dbf? Like, the All-Star '90s arena located in Vancouver to BlahBlah Arena located in TrashCanVillage? I tried changing just the stuff in location.dbf, and renaming the arena's 4-letter abbreviation to 'as90' from filename to .viv contents, but all I get is a glimpse of the court and the game hangs and closes on its own. Is there anything else I need to do to fully reassign it? Hex editing or w/e?

And one more thing: does NBA Live 08 not really have the European All-Stars' court, or is it just my copy? Because in location.dbf it has an entry for the Euro All-Star court but in court selection screen (Play Now) it doesn't show up. If it got deleted or w/e (I didn't notice what with all the patches I put in, lol), can it be returned? And while we're at it, can I add new courts?

If you're changing the abbreviation in the database you'll likely need to modify the .viv as well. And yes, the European All-Stars are not in the game despite the entry in location.dbf.

Oh, okay, thanks. So it's a matter of changing every four-letter abbreviation (again, say, 'atla') to the abbreviation of the court I wish to change? Like every 'atla' to 'as90'?

If you have an update for the 90s All-Star arena, you should just leave the abbreviation alone.

Although when I use some teams like the Celtics, Cavs...the game shuts down. ..meh, I don't like 'em anyway.
