How do you play online with updated rosters?

if what i could remember is right, you could only play online (specifically direct connection) if you have the same roster as your opponent's..

Try copying the files from the saved roster folder to the originaldb folder under My Documents\NBA Live 08\database as well as the OrigDB folder under Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\database.
