How do I add a created player to the slam dunk contest?

Providing he's available in the rosters you've currently got loaded, you can select him the same as any other player. Note that his Dunking rating must be 80 or higher.

Mine is 99 in Dunk Rating and does not show up when I select the players

That's really strange, you should be able to use a created player in the dunk contest unless that's another bug that's gone undetected until now.

well, in my game NBA Live 08, only certain players can participate in the Slam Dunk Contest. Players like Chris Bosh and Kobe Bryant can.

But I created a player with almost everything at 99 and he is in the 3 pt shooting which anyone is allowed to join but not in the Slam Dunk.
