Having Trouble Setting Keyboard Keys

I am having trouble with setting the Freestyle buttons in the controller keyboard section. After i clicked a button and pressed a key to replace the original ones, it wouldn't work.

I haven't changed the controls in a long time, but if I remember correctly, you can't change the Freestyle controls.
Assuming you can, can you provide more details on what happens? Does it just not change at all?
