Controller Issue

I have a PS2 to usb adapter for my pc. The controller works fine for madden, nhl ect. But when i try to play NBA it wont work at all. It does not show up on list when you go to configure controllers. I tried using "generic" and a few others but with no luck.

I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this for me. I have never had a game where this controller did not work (PS2 Controller)

I have one as well, it works on the MadCats setup, maybe give that a try?
