how to install a playerlock patch?

hi everyone,i just downloaded a playerlock patch of which the file type is *.big .does anyone know how and where to install this patch?

It should have a readme in it, no?

If not, try finding the download page, see if there's documentation.

Finally, if the above doesn't lead to a ReadMe of some sort, look around to see if you can find the same file in either My Programs (then into NBA Live) or My Doc's (and into NBA Live) because it's possible that it replaces a file.

You should be able to just place it in the sgsm folder. By default, that's C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm.
