Best controller for the PC version (Philippines)

Postby teddyboy09 on Mon Jun 16, 2008 5:16 pm

Hey all,

Just wondering what the best controller for Live is that's for sale here in the Philippines; and where exactly I could get it. I'm not looking for the priciest one, though; so at, like, the 300-500something price range, what's the best in terms of durability, responsiveness, etc.?

I know there are a lot of guys here from the Philippines...most of you are keyboard warriors, but I've been raised by the controller, lol. I have a controller but it's the PS1-type one from CD-R King (really cheap). I want to get one with the PS2-type analog sticks, but idk if the PC version has a control scheme that is similar to the PS2's (which I got used to, since I've played live on the PS2 millions of times).

I hope someone could help out; thanks!

I can't comment on prices in the Philippines but if the Logitech Dual Analog pad is readily available, I'd certainly recommend it.

As Andrew says the Logitechs are a dime a dozen- probably regardless of where in the world you happen to be located.

They are exactly the same setup as the PS2s, the one exception being the player designation for certain commands- e.g., direct pass and offball- reads "dunk", "pass", "layup" & "shot", rather than square, circle, X, triangle. It may take you all of 20 minutes to acclimate.

End of any racist discussion.
