If you saved the rosters and are editing the correct players.dbf file, he should appear at the bottom of the database.

I created the player in Roster Managament, saved the roster as a new file, but at the bottom of the database is some brad or someone from GS

You have to pick the roster folder(your roster with the guy), the click on PLAYERS.DBF AND APPERANCE.DBF IF YOU ARE GONNA MAKE HIS CF.
Then make his player.pk and make sure you have the same player png as your protrait file has.

When I was creating the file, fshx couldn't use PNG so I used bmp, is that wrong?
And I added DRPETRO where it asks for pk and there is no portrait...

You also need to set "ISCREATED" field to False.

if you used a bmp file as his portrait.. the background wouldn't be transparent.. you can use a .png file when importing the texture in fshX.. just type the filename instead of clicking it in the explorer..

Too cool for a custom title.

There wasn't anything in that field, so I typed it to False yesterday, but it didn't work, I'll try to work something out.
So do I put plyprts... in sgsm folder?
And I modify the NLSC 07 08 Roster, is that the right one (it's from the roster patch)

Yes, the custom portrait needs to be placed in the sgsm folder.

It doesn't work, I'm such a noob :(
Do I change the ebo file to drpetro1 or just drpetro?
I tried both and nothing happened

The name of the .ebo file should match the PLAYERPKG value.

So it's drpetro? :?

EDIT: Oh and do I need to recompile or something in the Hex Editor, or just save it?

Yes, DRPETRO would be easiest.

Yes, it's DRPETRO. Put that in as his PLAYERPKG value, and the .big file and everything in it (*.apt, *.const, *.fsh, *.ebo)must have the DRPETRO name wherever it should be applied. The *.fsh file contains the actual portrait, which you import into the file using an fsh editor (I used FshX), the *.ebo is edited using a hex editor. *.apt and *.const, no need to be edited, just have the DRPETRO name on it. :D

I did all that, and the screen in the game where the portrait should be, it's just blank, there's nothing in there

I did it, I made portraits for Tony Kukoc and Steve Kerr, and I now have the Bulls with Jordan,Pippen,Kukoc,Kerr,Rodman :D
But they don't look very good, Kukoc' portrait is ok, but I couldn't find a good picture of Kerr, can someone find me one?
And how do I make the portrait appear when player is shooting free throws, substituing or something like that?
