Hotspot colours

Could someone explain how to edit the player indicator?
It's not that I'm to stupid to work with Photoshop, but somehow I have no clue how to work with that alpha layer stuff, and think I've got some nice ideas for new player indicators.

EDIT: And please tell me how to change the colour of the indicator, too.

Got something now, but the colours are wrong. The lightgreen indicator is the cpu, the darker one is me. But it should be the other way round... help please.

EDIT: I'm trying to edit the hotspot colours to imitate the the next-gen verions, but I can't find a file that seems to control them.
Are they controlled by nbalive08.exe?? help please
