Need Some Suggestions with my new dynasty please!!

Postby rustyduck on Mon Jun 09, 2008 2:35 am

right now i just started a new dynasty with Memphis, and also my created player, beginning of first season, made some big roster changes...
currently my roster is

C A.Horford 76
PF S.Williams 69
SF L.Deng 81
SG R.Gay 77
PG K.Kaze 78 (My created player, built like chris paul, with ratings lowered by about 10 for each catagory)

Bench
G.Green SG/SF 72
A.Nocioni PF/SF 78
D.Milicic C/PF 72

need some suggestions on how to make this into a great team (in the long run) thanks

P.S. i have around 7mill cap space remaining

made another trade...signed a free agent and traded him along with Milicic and a 2nd round pick to the lakers for Turiaf and Bynum

Current Roster
A.Horford C 77
S.Williams PF 70
L.Deng SF 81
R.Gay SG 77
K.Kaze PG 79

Bench
G.Green SG 73
A. Bynum C 74
A.Nocioni SF 78
R.Turiaf PF 66

>< please give me some suggestions
thanks

P.S. i simmed the rest of the season after the trade (traded at deadline)
record before trade 19-34
after trade 18-11

big improvement, but not good enough for me to get into playoffs :(

any suggestions on what i could do in the off season would be nice...still waiting for something ><

Nice Work!

Although I like to have at least 1 backup to every position.
But if that is working for you, keep going with it.

Maybe get a better shooting guard because Deng is more fit for the small forward position.

thanks for the suggestions, its working nice rite now, but i think L.Deng might be good in there cause i dont really want him coming off the bench or something..at 84 and growing.

thanks anyways!!

nice lineup man.
looks good.
Definitely keep Deng starting, at least 8 of every 10 games you play. Don't force him though, let him play some games off the bench. (If you ask me).
as I look at life through my rear view, i see all the potholes i had to steer through.
If you can't be a muse, be amusing.

If I were you I'd stick with that lineup for the meantime and see how it plays before making any further changes. With the versatility of the players on your roster you've probably got enough depth at the moment.
