Choose "No" for the 2007 Draft option. If you select "Yes" for that option, all created players will be wiped and any transactions you've made will be undone.

You can't. As I said, the game wipes created players if you select "Yes" for the 2007 Draft option.

You can try to exchange files in original database.

Go to this location:

My Documents -> NBA Live 08 -> saves

Here choose the roster you're using. Folder name should be the same as save name in game.

Copy those files from there: players.dbf, appearance.dbf.

Then go to:

My Documents -> NBA Live 08 -> database -> originaldb and paste the files.

Make a backup first in case something goes wrong.

thats what i did, but i donno why, my guy is just not appearing in the draft, even though he is a rookie, do i have to get him on a team instead of free agents?

Maybe. I don't know, because I've never done this. Worth a try.

What's his overall rating? If he's still in the Free Agent pool he might have been pruned when you start a new Dynasty game. It might be worth placing him on a team.

There's also an OrigDB folder within the main game folder that contains the default files, try replacing that too. Failing that, the only way you can ensure custom rosters are used in Dynasty Mode is to disable the 2007 Draft option when you start a new Dynasty game.
