How to unlock the locked jerseys

how can I unlock the locked jerseys? Are there any patches that will unlock these jerseys?

i think if you're using the NLSC rosters, the locked jerseys will be unlocked..

If not, go to this location:

My Documents -> NBA Live 08 -> saves

Here choose the roster name you are using and enter folder with it. Name of the folder should be the same as the save name in game.

Then open the teamgear.dbf file using DB Commander.

Search for the field ISUNLOCKED (second from right). Most lines have 1 in this field. If some line has 0 there, change it to 1. Then save and quit and you're done.

Spree#8 I've tried that already but still it wont work.

Open the file again and make sure that there are no zeros at all in that field.

Grab the "cdbflite.exe" and "cdbflite.ini" from e.g. Lean's jersey packs. Place them in your rosters folder. Then go to Notepad, and type in:

cdbflite.exe teamgear.dbf /case /filter:DELETED=False /field:ISUNLOCKED=1 /update


When you save it, choose "All Files" in the file type, then save it as "something.bat" in the same directory as the "cdbflite.exe" and the rosters.

Now double click the "something.bat".

I hope that is not too complicated and that it works.

Did you reload the rosters afterwards? If not, you won't see any change.

I did that already but still the 1995 away jersey of toronto raptors is still lock.

The Raptors' 95/96 jerseys are not included by default. I'd suggest that's an issue with the custom teamgear.dbf file you're using. The four hidden jerseys that actually appear in the default teamgear.dbf file can be unlocked using the method described in this thread.
