I've been using this Destiny thing to "Cheat" a little bit (Giving my generated rookies a 0 or a 1 after I Draft them. You really have to do it for the actual 2007 drafted rookies, cause EA has their destiny messed up.
something else that I have found is the "learning" rating(The higher the better). I haven't played with it much, but I think it represents how susceptible the player is to training, (they may loose whatever they gain during the season during summer time, though)
There is also a workethic stat, wich I believe is self explanatory. 0 is the best, 2 is normal I think

Learning appears to be a standard 0-99 rating with 0 being the worst possible rating and 99 being the best. Work ethic ranges from 0 (the best) to 3 (the worst). You're correct about the Learning attribute; players with good Learning ratings will generally yield better results in training. Whether they continue to improve year-to-year depends on their Destiny attribute.

greg oden is my fav. but the stats are very unrealistic. i started a dynasty with the lakers and simulated a game against the hornets and peja stojakovic scored 82 points. chris bosh led the league in ppg that year with 42. elton brand led the league in rebounds with 7.2. and tim duncan led the league in assists with 6.8. That is the only thing that i hate about this game is the stats in dynasty. by the way, try training greg oden with offensive skills. then after a couple years you will be able to post up and make a hook shot or dunk with no problems. hope this helps. peace out........
