Online Strategy Help

Hey, I'm derek aka dirkrazee54, i'm new to online gaming....which is far from playing the CPU. I know it is a big "no no" to share secrets but I was wondering if someone could help me. When I play, I do alright for the first three quarters and then end up getting pimp slapped in the fourth. I don't play my starters any more than my opponents but still it seems my players decide they have had enough and quit. i have had twenty point leads going into the fourth and lose. my record is 1-7....sucks right? can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? any other strategy guides would be much appreciated.

well, the other players r sometimes cheaters and know a lot of tricks, such as plugging out there modems so u get a automatic lost. I'm dont no exactly what ur promblem is. But PM me if u need further assistance.
