Dynasty Keeps Crashing

Here's what happens:

I open NBA Live 08 as normal, click Options and then Load/Save. My list of saves open up, I select my Dynasty file, click Load File and then it just crashes. So I go to my Task Manager, end the program, re-open NBA Live 08 but this time, I go to Game Modes. I click Dynasty Mode and then Load. The list opens up, I select my Dynasty, Load File and then it crashes again. So I go to my Task Manager again, end the program, re-open the program, Game Modes, Dynasty Mode, but this time I click New. It asks me to save the current rosters, I click Proceed and it crashes again.

I've tried normal games and they work fine.

When I open Task Manager each time, I see a window called CODEBASE ERROR but cannot switch to it. I restart my computer, re-open it but it still doesn't work. Any help?

EDIT: Sorry, I just realised that this should go to the NBA Live 08 Technical Issues forum. Could somebody please move it for me?

Weird.

Try deleting the currentdb and workingdb folders fromt he database folder in MY docs/NBA Live 08

Have you edited your saved Dynasty in any way? If so, one of the files may have a corruption.

Something else you can try is restoring the default birthtown.dbf and birthstate.dbf files in your Dynasty save. That one's been a common glitch the last few years.

I had the same CODEBASE ERROR after trying to edit a.dbf file in my dynasty...also I restoring it and no problem
