Fixed my crashes, it was caused by Albys' Realistic's roster

do a clean reinstallation and you'll be fine
here are the instructions
uninstall nba live 08,
then delete the folder in program files -> ea sports -> nba live 08
also delete the save files in the "My documents" -> nba live 08
then reinstall!
