Older season roster patches?

First time poster, long time player.

I really want to play with older rosters, complete with the old courts and jersey's, especially seasons from the 90's (particularly 95-96).
Are there any patches in the making for Live 08? I was also wondering if I could use patches for Live 07 with 08. Does it work flawlessly?

Unfortunately the rosters for 07 are not automatically compatible with 08 but most graphics updates (faces, courts, etc) are interchangeable between the two games.

So, how would one go about in order to make them work?

They basically need to be converted so that the relevant data from 07 is copied to the 08 files and missing data filled in. Because of the additional fields in 08's databases compared to the databases used in 07, they're not immediately compatible.

So I guess I'll pretty much have to wait until someone realeses a patch for 08.
Do you know if any is in the works?

None that I know of sorry, though I believe there's a classic teams patch available (or in the works).
