Does ZipperZ's NBA2k8 2nd patch makes the NBA LIVE 08 crash?

where's ur evidence?? do you have any proof that my patch makes the game CRASH huh?? where's ur preview?? i'd explain it in my lock thread already, that if u install another patch in ur NBA Live 08, that has an issue about crashing the game, it's not my problem, it's urs.. i've tested it in my NBA Live 08, i dont have experience any game crashes.. If u have a proof, well, then show it to me!

well other guyz around here do not have any problem of using it, well maybe you have other patches that runs into your system which might cause the conflict.

Or, dont use it if you feel like your game crashes on it.

ZipperZ you dont have to be a sour puss... I'm just asking... I'm just not sure in Direct IP... is it your NBA 2k8 patch or the aiact I've replaced

i suggest u should fresh install ur NBA live 08 then put the patches that u want to use "one at a time!" and test it every time you put a patch!... so you can tell what causes the game to crash... cause in my NBA Live 08, i have no prob using zipper's patches...

It's the loc file. The reason it is the loc file is because it changes an original file, and ZipperZ has changed one of the in-game menu's to read "NBA TV Stats Central." This causes a conflict when the games are trying to stay synchronized. Data dn textures are loaded as they are needed/displayed, that's why it disconnects.

It can also be the aiact. You will notice if it is the aiact if it disconnects as soon as a player tries to shoot or pass, or even run depending on what animations have been changed. You can play with a modified aiact as long as both players have the same aiact. I believe you can also play online as long as both players have the 2k8 patch, but I am not sure about that.

I think if you want to play direct IP, better use a simple NBA Live 08. I am a commissioner for NBA Live Series Tournament in our company. And we use PC as our medium because of the updated roster. I tried patching all the 10 PC that we're using with all the great patches here in NLSC and found myself having a damn crashing when I connect to direct IP. I reinstalled the NBA Live 08 and play without any patch. . .it connects. I try to install the Official roster patch and still it works. . .I installed aiact, and boom. . .crash. . .so it came to me that if you edit something from the program files\easports\nba live 08. . .your game will likely crash.

If you want to play with patched game. . .then it must be a one PC with JOYPADS or Keyboards. . .it doesn't crash. . .
