Lots of questions

Which lighting mod achieves the closest to next gen lighting?

What are the recommended settings to achieve the best visuals in the game?
Like anisotropic and Antialiasing? 8x 4x 2x
I know that the highest would be best but at which point will the graphical increase become unnoticed with a higher setting?

What resolution should i use? 800x600? 1024x764?
After a while the higher resolution would matter?

I'm using a BFG nVidia 5500 FX OC (overclocked)

The gameplay is pretty good although the computer does alot of fast breaks.
Which mod would make the gameplay feel like a real game where u have to use strategy to make points or to play good defense?

Which mods can i add that wont crash the game and will allow me to play someone with a different mod or without mods at all online (ip 2 ip)?
I have been leeching around these forums for a few weeks and just signed up.

How do i add things like sweat and other things to make the game like the ps3 version?

Why isnt the wiki being worked on? I could help once i get more knowledge about modifying. Who has access to it anyways?

The Wiki project hasn't gone as smoothly as we'd hoped but we haven't given up on it yet. We may be updating/changing the Wiki software in the near future to make it more easy to manage as more of a community project.

Yea, that would be better! Its kinda hard to figure things out by searching threw threads. Also forums get messy. a wiki can be a neat way to document all of the modifications! Hurry up on the updating ;)

What about all the other questions i had?

It also seems that alot of the tutorials for live 07 also apply to 08! So a wiki would be great for consolidating and gettign rid of repetative questions.

That certainly was the aim of the Wiki, we'll need to do a better job with it.

To answer a couple of other questions:

What resolution should i use? 800x600? 1024x764?
After a while the higher resolution would matter?

The maximum your hardware allows, basically. At least 1024 x 768.

How do i add things like sweat and other things to make the game like the ps3 version?

The sweat textures are part of the alpha in the face files; face patching isn't my forte so I'm not the best person to go into specifics there.
