Substitution Bug

Postby TC#10 on Sat Nov 03, 2007 12:10 pm

Does anyone have a problem with the substitution for the opposing CPU team? Only the PF/C subs in n out randomly, and the Guards don't sub in/out at all even if they're fatigue level is low. I set the Fatigue level to High and CPU substitution to 100... but still no subs for the Guards...

Any word that EA will make a patch and fix this problem Andrew? Thanks

I tested subs with a number of games today. Whether I turn Auto Subs on or off, both my team and the CPU team sub big men pretty regularly, and guards only very infrequently.

With Auto Subs OFF, my starting C kept subbing out for my third string C.

Auto subs are not working.

I havn't noticed any strange sub issues, EXCEPT that most of the time the CPU team doesn't take their players out even if they pick up too many fouls. (ex. 3 fouls in 1st quarter).

Im usually playing around 5-6 mins per quarter, and cpu usually subbed their C/ PF or players with lower stamina. But when I tried playing more minutes they did actually change the whole starting lineup. Im starting to think that the fatigue effect doesnt work much on shorter play time/ quarter. not sure though.

and besides, when calling a timeout, the star players usually recovers 100% of their stamina, thus, getting back in the game quickly.

example of which is when im playing against San Antonio. Ginobili was the 6th man and Finley is the starting SG. After 32 mins of playing, Ginobili ended up playing only 5 mins compared to Elson/ Oberto with about 13-15 mins each.

I dont know if this is a good find but if you have noticed this, please voice out.

Thanks. :D

Even when the opposing guards get into foul they cpu team does not sub them out. I think it's a substitution bug and that has to be addressed and not ignored. I usually play 8min quarters and the cpu does not sub in/out their guards

manually sub?? If you have to make all the decisions for CPU, then might as well play against youself?
