I played a game online (ps3), I beat him with my team (cavaliers), he was the wizards.

After I won, the final buzzer sounded, immediately after it buzzed he paused and it said the connection has been lost, and it didn't count the win.

This sucks, has it happened to anyone else?

If he quits I am pretty sure that u get the win. Unless it was a non ranked game.

He didn't quit, he disconnected his internet or something. After the final buzzer sounded (immediately after), he paused and it said the "connection has been lost", and I didn't get the win.

he just pulled his ethernet cord. did u check your record right after? sometimes it takes a couple minutes to register.

I don't play nba live 08 that much anymore (I never play single player), I think I've played like 10 online games since I got it, and only finished 8 of them.

It's not a big deal, but if more people learn this tactic, I don't want to waste my 20 minutes playing an online ranked game that doesn't count :-p (not that I'm in the ranks anywhere, I'm probably ranked like 100 millionth (if that many people even play nba live)
