Hie there,
Thanks for helping out. I have a question here. You see, I’m a NBA live gamer and I always wanted to record the video of my gaming process. I found a video gaming software known as fraps (
www.fraps.com) which helps to record the video. But however, the process of running the fraps programme and running windows at the same time slow the PC down. Hence, I figure the best way to do it is to have another PC to record the video gaming process.
I plan to use my old desktop, a Pentium IV 2.4g to record for the video on my Laptop, which is a dual-core 2. I figure a way out how to do this is to connect the my old PC to my laptop, find a software that will display, whatever display I have in my laptop, it will appear on my old PC.
(Think like having having a few TVs running from one cable. So if the user change the channel, all the TVs will change channel because they are running on the same source. So if I am playing games on my laptop, the desktop monitor will shows I am playing games. I know I can just plug it to the monitor, but bear in mind I want to use the desktop to display the games, so it has to run through the desktop instead on the monitor )
My questions:
1) What is the software that will help me over this?
2) Is there a better way to do this? I know by setting up a camera and record is the easiest way. But I want to record this via PC.
Thank you very much!
