Wat do u guys think the overall ratings for the main rookies for Nba Live08 will be? In your opinion who will be rated better, Durantula or Gregory?

Personally I think they should remove the OVERALL rating. It does nothing but gives a reason to complain about. Doesn´t really reflect anything.

I am just asking for decent gameplay, that is all.

All I want is decent gameplay too, but when the game is still a few months off.............. silly threads like this help bide some time. :wink:

The importance of the overall rating does tend to be overrated at times but it does come into play when you're making trades in Dynasty Mode so I'd say that it's necessary for it to be a visible attribute.

Which is exactly why I want them to remove it. There is absolutely no possibility of you wasting your money on a lousy FA with good per game stats. You won't make a move on a player "who looks good" instead you just sort your free agents by the overall and you know you're getting someone to help you win.

I'd rather players found themselves winding up like real GMs and giving the Jalen Roses of the world maximum contracts.
