Thank goodness this trailer was made off of a work in progress build because its stuff like that dunk at the end of the trailer that worry me. Hopefully EA will be able to fix this and make the defenders bodies become more of a human body rather than some moving wall that can be pushed around by the offense. Though other than the defense issue i'm really liking what EA is doing on the offensive side of the game the quick strike and the own the paint systems look very promising and, it seems like they can be simple enough of for a casual player to use but have enough depth to make a hardcore player happy.

Yeah. . I have not seen that many lay ups in this game. Maybe I have to play the game to see em!! Other than that, I like what I see. . Still skeptikal of the Defence

dunno about you, but i don't like their legs ... they are realy skinny !!! B-Ball players have great calfs, but theese that are shown in the game are freaky ... not to mention the knees

agree with you on the legs, and the shorts too. there is a pic where it looks like gasol has a skirt on lol.

still i will take gameplay over graphics any day. graphics to me are near the bottom of my list of wants for any game.

I wish the ball would spin more when you dribble, it kind of looks like they are palming the ball when they dribble.

I never played next gen live last year (I have a ps3). Did all players with long hair have flowing hair, or brick mop hair?

In the vid posted above I noticed both Kaman and AMMO have skin heads........ (I'm guessing they just didn't have their dynamic hair attached at this stage of development.)

I can't remember hair movement in NBA Live 07, unless it was really subtle.

Since I'm the ultimate Warriors fan, Baron Davis was balling in the trailer. Quickstrike Ballhanding really looks clean and fun. Definitely a tremendous upgrade from Total Freestyle Control.

Quickstrike sounds promising. That, along with Hot Spots. I'm still lukewarm to the Post play. Almost every year, they call the post play new and revamped and more often than not, it's a few steps back. Can't wait for more previews!

Offensively speaking I'd say there's a distinct improvement with all the fakes and moves you can perform based on the player you're using, the current situation and the button presses though as I said in my gameplay report the "jostle" system doesn't favour the defense enough making it easier than it should be to score inside. This was one of the things we discussed with the producers.

Ballhandling and dribble animations really look promising! One thing that is a bit unreal is for example when the ball hits the ground it starts to rotate in some cases but as we could see during the Melo behind the back, it didn't! So if EA is talking about advanced ball physics than they should fix that! But otherwise it's great
