That's weird...there are no mentions of go-to moves, own the paint, any of the features that are in the X360/PS3 version...I smell conspiracy...

Thanks for the heads up, posted on the main page.

lol, wii is current gen, EA doesn't implement any new things to current gen, don't be silly.
Also, from the looks of it, PC current gen isn't changing. (the wii version is nba live 07 ported to the wii, if you look at the screenshots closely)
They'll probably update the roster and rename it nba live 08 for the PC.

Of course they will, why wouldn't they? That's what we've all expected for a while now. Until the PS2 dies off, it'll be more profitable for EA to port the PS2 version they're still making.
I'll be passing on Wii Live 08, but even though I hate Live, I am interested in Live 09. Madden 08 is sounding really good Wii-wise, and Madden 07 was pretty fun. There's something about the Wii that makes playing games with last-gen graphics still seem new. I mean, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition seems completely different just because of the controls. I'm glad the Wii will overtake the other consoles in a few months, because more developers will put time into it. As EA is doing this year after ignoring it's launch beyond Madden.

So since Wii doesn't have the go-to moves, own the paint etc it's safe to say that the PC version won't have them either, right?!

Naah man these Wii screens look awful IMO! I'm afraid PC looks the same as this...and really, without the new features (go-to, post moves, quick strike, hot zones) the game is EXACTLY the same as Live 07! How is that they haven't even changed the ball to the new "old" one! It would be easier to bring the Next-Gen to PC as well! It's high time EA did that! because there's no real point in "developing" the PC version the way they do it, and in comparison to the Next Gen it feels and seems too far away.

I don't think so.. cause they replaced freestyle moves with these features own the paint go-to moves etc.. when they remove the freestyle features from current gen, there will be enough space for the new features..

The question is, will EA effectively use that space? Or will they simply leave FSS on the PC/Wii/PS2 version of '08? All answers should be revealed tomorrow @ E3.

These wii screens are nba live 07 ported to wii (if you look in the background, the banners say NBA Live 07).
I hope the pc version isn't as dull :-p

If it is, it will give me and the other patchers here something to do

This is why I don't want a Wii, the graphics are terrible. Even look at madden, it looks WORSE than GameCube. I would much rather have next-gen graphics rather than a remote that I can shake around at the TV screen, that really doesn't feel anything like shooting a basketball.

Yeah, I sense a good ol' load of work to make it decent looking once again this year...
