NBA Live 08 on Wii?

Well, it looks like NBA Live should be available on Wii (Link), which is kind of surprising...

So, how do you think the gameplay will be adapted to the console, and do you think it will be worth buying it?

damn... nba on wii... playing the game would be using controllers right??? cus if your going to play like wii is supposed to be played(meaning moving your body a lot) it tould be exhuasting...

It has potential... you move your guyy with the nunchuck and shoot by flinging the wiimote (like the free throws on NBA 2k7 for PS3)

it could make the game a lot more on skill which EA doesn't like. they like fast acrade-like dunkfests

Confirmed. (I would guess?)

I think it would be a very difficult job for EA/2K to translate an NBA game to the Wii. I think they both might employ completely different ways to play.

I'm a big Wii fan and I hope they can find how to play basketball on the Wii. Nintendo did a pretty good job with their soccer game Mario Strikers, and soccer seems to be harder to do for the Wii because it's played with the feet. So if you use your hands it's easier with a sport that uses your hands.

I have a suspicion that it might be played with the classic controller instead of the wiimote/nunchuk(sp).
