it's 2 early,man!

Nothing's been said yet but since it's likely it'll be another port of the Current Gen version, I assume they won't be much more demanding than the requirements for NBA Live 07.

Andrew, man, it can't b true! i can't believe it! i hate current gen!

Nothing has been said yet but I'm fairly certain that will indeed be the case with NBA Live 08.

Keep in mind, the next-gen version of '07 ran sluggish on the 360.
(edited; to remove convoluted rant where i agree that next-gen would be nice, but explain in exacting detail why it won't be done this year)
The good news is that by 09 or 2010, when the PC version is ported from next-gen, that version will be playable and not the glorified betas that the 360 versions of '06 and '07 were.

Well, none, since the platforms referred to as "Current Gen" will surely be phased out by then.

"Before Gen" would do.
Diddy, mind if I ask about your PC's specs? We all know how bloody the next-gen graphics are. I'd like to see 08 in Current Gen graphics (with slight adjustments of course)

The Requirements are:
Windows 3.1
40MB Hard Drive Space
640x480 Resolution
256 Colors
Shittiest video card ever
Shittiest sound card ever

By the way..
They will NEVER make it like Next-Gen on PC. As far as I see it, this is the last PC NBA Live probably.

If I may ask, what do you base this on. Gut feeling, instinct, common trends in the gaming industry, some developer comentary that the rest of us are unaware of, or just the usual EA hates us.

Well...I went out and bought the 360 a few days ago. NCAA Football is coming out as well as I'm tired of the retread that NBALive on PC has become. I now have two options for gaming and will wait a few days until some reviews come out before purchasing this year.
I couldn't take year 5 of the same exact crappy graphics, not to mention poor game play of at least the last 2 years. If the game play is crappy it will be bad on all systems at least I'll have something pretty to look at. I'm done with "Current Gen" sports games.
