i fear getting excited about this game. live 07 was such a huge disapointment for me it has crushed all hope i have for nba live. i will get this one cause i am dumb like that, so they can win back my faith in them but until then i cant get hyped

It´s good that they´re not mentioning some kind of gimmick with a fancy name as their new feature, as they have been doing for years.

Unless they now call this new ¨5 on 5¨gaming (um...it shouldn´t be new..) ¨5x5 freestyle¨, ¨5 star superstar¨, ¨10 times superstar¨, ¨freestyle team¨, or free5tyle. (I have a scary feeling that they might do that...)
However, last year´s live seemed really good from the previews, interviews, etc. So there is no way of knowing until the final version.

Brian made a point of mentioning that they weren't looking to add any new control methods during the conference call so it would seem they're not looking to do anything too gimmicky this year. I'm sure there will be some sort of label for marketing purposes (or simply a means of having a concise way of referring to the concept and work that has been done) but ultimately that label doesn't matter much if the results are what we're hoping for.
