I'm currently in middle of a dynasty mode season during the 2007-2008 season around december 31st to January 1st when I received an error when I sim to next game and received a crash. The game stops working because of the error. I received a codebase error.

I downloaded the NBA live 08 editor to trade players around and somehow errors pop up. I've looked up online and found out one of my teams had extra players but still learning about this problem because I've never experienced this before.

Try deleting everything in the workingdb and currentdb foldes so that the game can refresh them. If that doesn't work, then your Dynasty save has been corrupted, which means you'll need to restore from a backup before you made the edits (assuming you have one), or start again.

@mtaydus007 i think you did the trade using a NBA live 08 editor to a in-progress dynasty. I guess it just messed up the DB records of the dynasty. I never succeed on doing that before, even i completed the 1st season the next season will get crashed.


By the way, trading on the dynasty mode is exciting why dont use the legal trade on game.

There isn't one, really. DB Commander is generally a safer tool for editing the DBF files, but messing around with Dynasty saves usually doesn't end well.
