Just an idea for jerseys, need a lot of help with it though.

Guys,

I'll just say this. I possibly have been able to experience NBA Elite 11 for a couple of days, although the asking price from my friend for the copy was $2,000, which I couldn't afford haha, as it's worth a lot having not been released, I took the time to extract a few jersey files from the disc, but they are in .rpsgl format. This was a ps3 version btw.

I have an idea, which is to take the jersey textures from NBA Elite 11, which I have all of them saved, use photoshop to edit the colours, and turn it into a Live 08 texture, add numbers to the buni, and release as a jersey pack that wasn't possible before. I have the photoshop and jersey patching skills, what I need, is somebody, anybody to help me with cracking the .rpsgl format files.

Note they are real small files, so they have to be heavily compressed I would think. Here is a link to 4 of the files, a home and away jersey for a team I have no clue as to who it might be though.

If we could be able to open these files, then the possibilities for NBA Live are limitless.

you need a programmer ... sorry i'm just starting to program .. C++ with basics of java .. but i think that's a job for someone like Arushan, Pdub, Jao ... or anyone who has hex knowledge ... I mean deep hex knowledge .. great steal though.

way past my credentials, but the good fellows over at http://forum.xentax.com/ would be able to help

you might be better off just using PC 2K textures though, since that already has the color schemes, logos, and line work that you would need.
