Question about Game Crashing

Hey guys i have deleted all the necessary files and reduced the size of the crowd and i still experience crashing.... all my cf are 1x....

Where in the game is it exactly crashing?
Is it during a timeout,while taking a shot etc.

yes i tried that.... it crashes during time out.... do the bmp files have to be 24 bit when converting to 1x?

I'm also experiencing random crashes lately.. I recently reformatted my laptop and reinstalled nba live.. the weird thing is that the crashes happen on the main menu.. whenever i'm choosing to game modes -> dynasty mode, options, etc.. I don't know.. sometimes it doesn't crash and sometimes it crash..

What rosters are you guys using?

The cf's should not have anything to do with the crashes during the timeouts.

To Mgc#12 and Jeloooo:
From my past experiences,those types of crashes are caused by the rosters or ai.

yeah thats when i noticed i had the crashing start.... i installed tup's roster.... thats when the crashing started...

The only thing i can suggest is downloading the tup11 update pack.

Yes. It's also against the rules to discuss or support them, so use a disc.

An idea from my poor mind: ..try to install properly the roster files. Copy the all the Roster File "NBA TUP 12" inside that folder except save.bat then paste it on these folders: C:\....\Documents\NBA LIVE 08\database\currentdb, C:\....\Documents\NBA LIVE 08\database\originaldb, C:\....\Documents\NBA LIVE 08\database\workingdb

if you change roster just do the same process stated above..^^....i don't know if you already know these guys...but i just want to share..^^ for the information of everybody..^^

i played dynasty mode using the beta roster then it crashed... but when i play the play now mode it is not crashing... is it the beta roster that causes it?

So far bro there were no issues on the beta roster that King Dee released...try to check those incompatible files in your live 08..

From my experience, ai or roster or maybe some extensive art files ... it also happened to me when i changed the font of the game ...

Although by their very nature, beta releases don't have any guarantees that they will work 100%. That's why they're labelled as such.
