*TUTORIAL* How to easily switch between multiple patches

I don't know if you guys know this trick, but I use it to have multiple patches.

What I do is this.

I go to Program Files/EA Sports/
Then I copy and rename the NBA LIVE 08 folder.
In the new renamed folder, I installed my second patch, and crated a second (renamed) shortcut.
Then I created a folder called 'NBA LIVE 08 Patch Switcher'. You can put this in a convenient place, like My Documents.
In the Switcher folder, I made folders for the patches I have (FIBA Live 2011 and Euroleague 2012).
In those folders I placed the 'saves' folder.
So if for example I want to switch from Euroleague 2012 to FIBA Live 2011, I only have to copy the saves folder to My Documents/NBA LIVE 08 and overwrite it. This way you can have a lot of different patches.

I hope it was clear and it will help. If you all already knew this, I wasted my time on writing this.

or you can just have multiple sgsm (sgsmTUP, sgsmFIBA, sgsmNCAA, sgsmSD, sgsmPBA) inside your NBA LIVE 08 folder and just rename it to "sgsm" whichever mod you want to play.

The sgsm folder tends to be the problem when it comes to switching between patches with incompatible/conflicting files more so than the saves folder. But thanks for the post all the same.

For future reference, the Tutorials section won't allow general users to create new threads, so as to avoid clutter. We will certainly move any threads as appropriate, though.
