is this posible that the nba 2003 commentary files can work with nba live 2008??

No it is not possible.It has been tried many times with different Live series games but never worked.

how about taking some aiact moves from live 03 to 08..i am sure it is possible if you take some moves from live 03 to 04 then from 04 to 05 and that way to live 08?

live 03 doesnt use an aiact or the same animation system
04-06 can share animations with each other (including the March Madness PS2 games)
07 and 08 can share animations with each other

That is what i thought as well.Because whenever i had tried using an 07 aiact in 08 it crashes.
Maybe he means some things can be extracted from the 07 aiact to the 08 aiact.
Aiacts are so damn confusing to me.

I have been looking through different files from live 06 and 07 just to see what i can use in 08 and so far i found that i can use the 06 ubievent.viv and 07's xditties.abk and xditties.ast.The ubievent.viv only changes the camera angle on the first of two free throw attempts.And the xditties changes the background music during the game and three point shoot-out.I am trying other files and will give details as to what else works.I have asked a cousin of mine to lend me his live 05 game so i can use the files as well to see if anything else works.


@Andrew:Would it be possible for me to release the xditties.abk and xditties.ast?

I've done that with the xcrtsfx.abk file so sure, that would be fine.

yeah release it..i would like that free throw shooting system is possible in live 08

and one more thing i know that adding camera from some older nba is not possible but i saw someone to release camera patch...i do not know what is tool for patching those mgd files but i think that we can just copy code or what ever it is from live 03 to live 08 and get more cameras on practice or on game....

Yes i have tried it.It is nothing special.I will upload it in a while on my thread.
