Well, Miami Heat is the franchise i 'own' in dynasty mode
The Starting Lineup:

C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas
PF: Chris Bosh
SF: LeBron James
SG: Dwayne Wade
PG: Eugene Jeter

1. Mike Miller
2. Jame Jones
3. Eddie House
4. Mario Chalmers
5. Carlos Arroyo
6. Dexter Pitmann
7. Royal Ivey

Overall even though some players are low averaged,
they are great shooters!
e.g. E. Jeter - 67 average but 80's to high 70's in shooting
and accurate in superstar mode even!

Keep in mind that ALL teams either have 'Minus Salaries' so a trade can't be made
or they have no Roster Room for players at all....
My own franchise, Miami Heat are -2.87M with plenty of roster room

What are some tips to free some cap space?
It's a simple trade with another team, but in this case, nothing is possible as it seems
Even waiving players doesn't do affect, until miraculously some team decides to sign him (extremely rare chance)

If no team is under the cap, then there's not much you can do to free cap space during the season. You pretty much have to stockpile players with contracts that expire at the end of the year and reap the benefits of cap space then.

But i have to ask, what changes should i make to my roster?
Feels like some players are worth their salary (e.g. Big 3 & Mike Miller), but some are not.
Who would you recommend to 'trade off/waive' from the roster, once
the time comes in the ending season which is not too far away?

I'd be looking to get rid of anyone who isn't performing well for you and has more than one year left on their contract.

As for my sig, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are of course the two on the left, Derrick Rose is the player on the right.

Yes trade your roster for players that have 1 year remaing on their contract (check it at the off season central)
