Codebase error

So I already tried to delete my workingdb and my currentdb but in my currentdb there is a file that won't delete it's called eappearence, anyone know what this file is or why it won't delete. IT says it's being used by another program and to close that program but I don't have anything else running...live worked the other day and I haven't fooled with DBcommander so not sure why this is happening.
