Change teams

Okay De8 asked me a very interesting question. Is it possible to change team in a dynasty? I know we can change team if the owner fires you or somebody wants to hire you but is there any other way, like through dbf or something.

No...at least, not without glitches and crashes. The user control flags are easy enough to change in teams.dbf but it doesn't work properly as you'll continue to access the PDA for your old team (or the Hawks, regardless of whether they're your old team or new team) and there'll be other strange behaviour and usually crashes at some point.

could you give some ideas what to change in teams.dbf might as well try it

The "user controlled" flag in teams.dbf is the ISHUMAN field (True obviously designating a user controlled team, False designating a CPU controlled team). As I said, it doesn't completely or properly switch control of the team but if you want to give it a try then that's the field to change.

Sir it actually works, no crashes but the bug is the offseason, I'm resigning players from Detroit(previous team) instead of Dallas then the player evaluations shows Detroit players. In the second offseason I'm able to resign players from Dallas but the player evaluations still shows Detroit players. That's all I noticed so far

Those are the kind of glitches I was alluding to. Sometimes trying to change teams like that has resulted in crashes, but at the very least it doesn't work entirely as it should with problems such as the ones you've encountered.

I'm going to sim this to 4 to 5 years and maybe play at least 10 games if it doesn't crash I shall use this technique
