Updating Rosters for PS3?

Just got this game from a friend and was wondering how, and in which modes can I use current rosters? Is this something that can only be used in dynasty mode, or can I use them in quick play also? Thanks in advance

NBA Live 365 updates and custom rosters can be used in all offline gameplay modes on the PS3. However, only the NBA Live 365 updates can be used for online play.

how do I go about installing them, or where do I find nba live 365?

Sorry, not sure why I mentioned NBA Live 365. That's NBA Live 09 only.

If you're talking about the NLSC roster updates, you can't install them to the PS3 version. They're for the PC version only. If you've got a PS3 roster save file, I've been told this is how you can transfer it:

To transfer the rosters to the game, unzip this file to your storage media and then copy or move it to your storage device. Insert the storage device into your Playstation 3 console. In the Game Menu, click on Saved Data Utility and select your storage device. Copy the rosters to your console. You can then load the rosters from within NBA Live 08
