First things first: did you download the game from a torrent?

If not, have you installed any patches or edited the game yourself in any way. If so, which patches do you have installed/what changes did you make?

Easy there.

It's quite possible that one of the updates you're using is causing a crash, perhaps because of an incompatibility with another update. The first place to look would be the aiact.viv file. Not all custom aiact files will be compatible with every roster out there, which can lead to crashes and weird glitches. From there, it becomes a process of elimination. Take out the updates until the crashing stops, that way we can pinpoint which file is causing the problem and assess the options from there.
