Help with crashing: 2nd Dynasty season

Hi everyone,

Have applied the roster patches only. The way I understand it is they are copied into SGSM folder.

I can play the 'Play Now' option but can't play my 2nd Dynasty season. The game crashes at 'Trade players' for some reason. Everything before that works including the Draft.

Another mode which locks up is the 'FIBA' mode.

Any ideas why the strange occurrences? Do I have to start the season again (its a shame i won with the Knicks)

Roster patches (at least the dbf files) are placed in save folders, not the sgsm folder; that's for art patches only.

When the game crashes, do you get any error messages?

Hi Andrew, thanks, I dont get any particular error just the 'NBA live has encountered an error and needs to close' etc...

Can you help out, what would I need to do to fix this? The game was working fine, maybe I've buggered up where I need to place the patch. I have no idea is there a guide for where to place the roster updates?

The FIBA mode works fine, so does season and everything else. It just doesnt like the dynasty.

As I said roster updates need to be placed in the saves folder, unless you're using the NLSC update in which case you just need to run install.exe and it will place the roster files in the appropriate folder automatically.

Ok. Is there anything I can do to fix this now:? Can you suggest anything?

Try copying the default birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf files to your Dynasty save. If that doesn't work, trying clearing the contents of your workingdb and currentdb folders.
