Need Some Opinion [Lakers]

Postby cxtian on Wed May 13, 2009 12:26 am

I used the latest roster made by andrew.

I traded Lamar Odom to the Bulls for Hinrich.

Then weeks later I traded Shasha for Reggie Evans and a 2nd round pick. The 76ers are currently ranked 29th in the season.

Was it a good deal or not?

So my rosters as of now is:

C: Bynum & Evans
PF: Gasol & Powell
SF: Ariza, Walton & Morrison
SG: Bryant & Brown
PG: Hinrich, Farmar & Fisher

Inactive: Yue & Mbenga

What do you think?

My current record is: 15-5 which i lost to Portland twice, Sacramento, Washington and Phoenix.
I am not playing the game but I just let the computer play itself without intervention from me such as substitution.

That depends on what type of team do you prefer. If it's defensive, trade was ok if it's above average draft ahead. If you can get another decent big man (maybe for farmar or morrison), it may be better.

That's my plan to look for another big man but i don't know who.
I am willing to trade morrison and farmar for a bigman and also powell and evans for another much more effective big man that can give me some rebounds and scores from the bench.
I can't trade walton and fisher since both of them give me some good scores from the bench.

I wouldn't say that was a good one. Curry is pure scorer, but doesn't give anything else to the team. Maybe that works for you, who knows..

I have to agree with dopeboy, Curry is not a good addition to most teams. I like defense, specially in centers, but if you want bench production go for it (Y)

Actually the trade went well for me. Curry giving me scores from the bench when Gasol or Bynum rest.
Current record is 43-13. Number 1 in the league.

I guess that trade worked well for you. Curry is bit overrated in NLSC rosters, but that's ok.. But you should consider either moving him at some point or increasing your salary cap. It's only my opinion, but his price is 2 high for a bench player.
