Dunk Packages and Layups

Postby DahLollipop on Fri Apr 17, 2009 8:18 pm

Are there more than meets the eye when we change dunk packages?
I've noticed on players such as Devin Harris and Brandon Roy compared to others who have the same exact Dunk Package, the moves are quite different. The layups that Devin Harris usually does is different than say, a regular role player who doesn't twist and turn like Devin Harris..
Would someone please explain the dunk packages? I've looked through every preview on Pdub's dunk package previewer and editor and I haven't found the layups and moves that I've been looking for.
Also, Is it possible to reorder certain dunks and lay-ups and put them into new groups? (EX: Putting all of the "Devin Harris" like layups into a "Dunk Package 1" of some sort.) Or do I have to manually edit the dunk in the aiact.viv into many different ones? ( I think I just answered my question... but just to double check). Thanks!

Stats like Ins Scr, Dunking and even Off. Awareness and also the Offensive Superstar(FSS) have their influence over player moves, Devin is probably a Inside Scorer so he might have some of those moves which Billups, a playmaker, probably doesn't.

I guess the only way to edit/change dunkpacks is through AIACT editing

Ooo, it makes sense.. I should of thought of that. Guess I'd have to play around with the dbf and the aiacts again. Thanks ;).
