Game Crashes

I don't know why, but I can't play more than a quarter because the game keeps on Crashing.
First I thought it's something with the NLSC update, so I tried to play without it but still, crashes.
I thought it's something with the graphics, so I turned it to minimum, but still - crashes.

Can you help me with this?

Have you got any other patches installed?

And do you get any error messages after the crash?

And if I may be so bold, are you trying to use a No CD patch?
