time outs make game crash why?

when ever a time out is called and the team and coach shows, the game crash.
sometimes i can bypass it from crashing by hitting x, bypassing the time out skit.
but sometimes it wont work.
how can i stop the game from crashing during time outs?
i uninstalled and reinstalled, made all player/coach faces 256/256,
reduced alot of court and arenas files, and still get crashes during time outs.
plz some one help me.

are you playing with the game disc in the dvd tray?

yes i am playing with it in the tray.

That problem usually doesn't occur unless you're playing with a No CD patch. Try removing all the patches you have installed (if you like, just move them to another folder temporarily so you can restore them) and see if that solves the problem; you may also want to try reinstalling the game if it doesn't.

no im playing with the cd in my dvd drive.
i reinstalled the game and its still crashing.
i uninstalled it did a system clean up like registry and all that.
reinstalled the game and still happens.
im wondering is this to do with my sgsm folder i saved it
and added it back when i reinstalled the game.
do you think i should just start fresh with andrews up to date roster patch?
im having these problems due to albys roster patch in my sgsm folder.

or is it because i have a 9700 pro radeon video card i think its 128mb
and i should upgrade so i can stop posting these problems of mine,
that i wouldnt have if i had a up to date video card like a x1300 radeon.

As I said, try removing all the patches you have installed and see if that works. If it does then it becomes a process of elimination to find out exactly what was causing the problem.

i have a legal copy.
could it be that i didnt register the game. i put in the product key code.
but i didnt register the game online at ea sports, could this be the problem.

im going to start fresh with your roster patch your latest..
i think its with albys roster patch cause this happens with teams
like wizards, denver, portland, dallas, its nothing to do with the courts,
or file sizes i think its a error db commander should fix as far as team, coaches, or info
like i try to play wizards and knicks (last nights game) in diffrent arenas, courts i know aint going to crash.
but it still crashed and i reduced all player faces to 256. alby has a sweat patch that makes 512 tattos work with out crashing
maybe its that cause every player in game is like 512 tatts maybe that could be it.

Yes, you should be able to use the NLSC roster fine with only the art files that come with it.

I don't think so. I have never registered a single game at EA Sports online and that didn't make them crash.

I have a friend who I provide with mods.He has a pirated copy of the game (sorry for saying this) and has the same crash.But the last time I visited him to play Live he pushed the ESC button every end of the quarter to avoid the crash and then resumes.The game continued normally.Try this one.Sorry for giving this kind of info.I have no intent to support piracy or promote it.My intention was only to help supreme.
